Extremely good food for a "bar" and very affordable. The chef is top-notch. The management is great, very accommodating no matter how many in your party they will tailor to your needs. Best music in town, sometimes Live bands perform there. Great people!

Do you know what I like in a pub? Nice people just doing their very best. And that's what this place is.
I was here ages ago for a secret Willy Mason gig (it was so cool, advertised on Twitter) but I think it's in new hands now as the bar manager was saying they got it 8 months ago.
Everything about it is so very odd. From the decor which is shabby paintings of big hats, to the little cats running around to the bar itself which is a little like you've just set up a bar in your front room. I can't imagine it would be to everyone's taste but me and my friend had a great time.
They don't judge when you have tequila and grapefruit juice on a Sunday morning to cure your hangover, they adjusted my roast to be veggie and I must say they were some of the best roast potatoes I've had in London.
Apparently the hostel above is emergency accommodation for families, so I like that it has heart.
If you want a properly run, neat pub go to Pratts and Payne across the road but if you want some nice food served by nice people with the company of cats, go here.

Nice enough place down St. Reatham way. One ale on cask - London Glory, which is one of those starts-out-nice, ends-up-arsey. The place is big and the shelves are made up of empty guitars and I like it, sort of, but it's not cheap and not that nice and just sort of feels like it's trying really hard. Nothing wrong with it, but not that much right, either.

Very welcoming, Friday nights really good. DJ's wonderful, mature people, Live music sometimes, dancing, Caribbean food. Open until 1.00am. Free entry. Local what more would you want after a hard week at work???  Friendly staff but slow bar service when busy....

For the area, This is by far THE BEST pub food going. they know exactly how to cook a steak to perfection and have excellent decor, with lots of old style furniture.very Glam.
Overall, I will most certainly be visiting it again soon!
